Hi, I'm Arkaitz!

Engineering Leader & Full-Stack Architect based in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Currently working as Tech Lead at Mapal OS in their Easilys product.

Throughout my career, I've developed and maintained core frameworks utilized by over 200 engineers across 40+ applications and services. I've successfully identified and implemented cost-saving measures that reduced operational costs by approximately 5%, while mentoring junior engineers and helping them advance in their careers.

Current Role & Experience

Currently, I am working as a Tech Lead at Mapal OS in their Easilys product, driving technical excellence and leading development initiatives.

Previously at Lumen Technologies, I architected and evangelized mission-critical core frameworks, enabling 200+ engineers to standardize 40+ applications on a unified stack—significantly reducing architectural debt and accelerating cross-team delivery cycles.

My journey includes co-founding EscapeUp as CTO, where I successfully connected 60 escape rooms with 300+ games and 150+ clients. I've also worked across diverse industries from geospatial applications at Geograma to satellite configuration systems at OSF Digital.
